Painted Wall Finishes – Nationally known instructor, Laura Brewer, will take you through techniques to successfully create elegant, yet simple, wall finishes in your home.  Students will complete four wall finish samples and gain the knowledge and confidence to create these finishes at home using the techniques, tools and products taught and used in this information packed mini-workshop. Class Fee/Deposit $25.00       Supply Fee of $20.00 is paid to the Instructor the day of class.               *Mini-Workshop – Metallic “Suede” Wall Finishes – Trendy, Hot New Finishes!  Complete three samples of gorgeous finishes (including stenciling with glass beads for pattern!)  that will add beauty, value and texture to your home! Previous students have completed gorgeous projects in their own homes after attending a hands-on workshop! Class Fee/Deposit $25.00       Supply Fee of $20.00 is paid to the Instructor the day of class.               *Mini-Workshop – Cabinet/Furniture Finishes – Learn techniques to update cabinets over most existing finishes!  Usually, no stripping of existing finish is necessary.  Water-based, low-VOC products and easy to apply varnishes will be used in this hands-on mini-workshop.   Class Fee/Deposit $25.00       Supply Fee of $20.00 is paid to the Instructor the day of class.               Lecture/Demonstration Decorative Concrete Countertop “Deminar”  –  Apply beautiful concrete overlay over  EXISTING tile, laminate or cultured marble countertops and Fireplace facades!  Learn how to apply an economical concrete overlay material featured on DIY cable shows.  Very little demolition needed!  Instructor will demonstrate countertop “resurfacing” and students will take home a finished sample and written instruction.   Class Fee/Deposit $25.00       Supply Fee of $20.00 is paid to the Instructor the day of class.               "Express your Inner Artist" Project Classes Soldered Jewelry Art – Let your “inner artist” out!  Gorgeous, swanky and a lot of fun!  Learn one of the hottest jewelry-making trends!  Create two pieces. Mix and match.  Students will solder a “frame” around a collage encased between glass.  Lots of fun,  nostalgic images, beautiful papers and “sassy” sayings to choose from.           Class Fee/Deposit $25.00       Supply Fee of $20.00 is paid to the Instructor the day of class.             Nostalgic Decoupage Jewelry – Have fun creating personalized wearable art pieces using specialty papers and images.  Each student will complete a pair of earrings and a bracelet.  New bangle shapes to choose from.  Add colorful crystals or beads for BLING!  Previous students’ bangles were AWESOME! Class Fee/Deposit $25.00       Supply Fee of $20.00 is paid to the Instructor the day of class.                     Mosaic Basics – Candle Tray  –  Create your unique masterpiece from a “treasure trove” of  specialty glass, mirror, and ceramic mosaic.   New material allows students to design, grout and finish their project in ONE session!  Students will learn techniques needed to create larger projects at home. Class Fee/Deposit $25.00       Supply Fee of $20.00 is paid to the Instructor the day of class.             Mini-Mosaic Wearable Art – Necklace Pendant – Using miniature mosaic pieces, students will create a one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry.  Students will choose between a variety of necklace pendant shapes and lots of miniature mosaic shapes and pieces.  Express your “inner artist”!   Class Fee/Deposit $25.00       Supply Fee of $20.00 is paid to the Instructor the day of class.             BYOB! Mosaic Workshop – Bring Your Own Bottle!  Students will learn another method for applying mosaic, using the instructor’s “renaissance”-styled patterns of miniature mosaic tiles, glass, millefiori and eclectic art pieces to inspire them to create an expression of their own “inner artist”.  These bottles are gorgeous!  “Munchables” will be provided to keep the creativity flowing!  Note: Bring an empty wine bottle (or bottle of similar size & shape) with the label and adhesive removed. Class Fee/Deposit $25.00       Supply Fee of $30.00 is paid to the Instructor the day of class.             Silver Metal Clay Jewelry – Create fabulous, artistic jewelry in this fun workshop!  Once the “eco-friendly” metal clay is fired, the silver is 99.9% pure (sterling is 92.5%)!  Students will learn how to work with metal clay and then create a personalized necklace pendant using the studio’s stamps, textures and molds.   Class Fee/Deposit $25.00       Supply Fee of $25.00 is paid to the Instructor the day of class.                     *NEW* Soldered Art Bottle – You have seen these in the specialty boutiques…now create your own art piece in this workshop.  Students will choose one of the design options provided by the instructors and then call upon her “inner artist” to make it her own.  This promises to be a great workshop!    “Munchables” will be provided to keep the creativity flowing.
