Class Fee/Deposit $40.00       Supply Fee of $40.00 is paid to the Instructor the day of class.             Skimstone - Introduction to Decorative Concrete Finishes Workshop - This is a trendy and economical way to create gorgeous surfaces over existing concrete floors/patios (interior and exterior), fireplace facades, shower walls and Formica or tile countertops!  Skimstone can be applied over existing tile and other surfaces too!  Learn how to transform your existing concrete into surfaces that look like stone or tile.  Beautiful sample boards completed in this workshop include stone, tile and an embedded pattern using stencils and/or Modellos.  Students will receive detailed written instruction as well.  Lunch is included! Workshop I - Learn how to use a variety of techniques to create beautiful “hand painted” accents in your home using metallic paints, glaze/paint, etc. Students will also learn one of the strongest decorating trends—embossed stenciling.  Each of the techniques learned in this workshop enhance both walls and furniture alike.  Students will use the studio’s stencils, paints, brushes, etc. in class.  Class Fee/Deposit: $20.00        Supply Fee of $25.00 is paid to Instructor the day of class.             Finish it! Furniture Workshop I - Update your existing cabinets and/or furniture with painted wood finishes featured in magazines and decorative furnishings stores.  Great for crown molding, mirror frames, furniture, cabinetry, etc.  Students will finish samples on pieces of wood molding and a small mirror frame using various crackling, antiquing, staining and distressing techniques to create some really great finishes. Class Fee: $115.00         Supply Fee of $50.00 is paid to Instructor the day of class.             Lecture/Demonstration         Introduction Lecture/Demonstration of Skimstone - Decorative Concrete Overlay Finishes -  Skimstone is  a trendy and economical concrete overlay material used to create gorgeous surfaces over existing concrete floors, old tile/Formica countertops, and fireplace facades!  INTRODUCTORY DEMONSTRATION AND DISCUSSION of the use/layered application process for Skimstone.  An overview discussing the "pros and cons" of a variety of decorative concrete finishes will be provided.  Students will receive written instruction and have an opportunity to "dip into a little mud" if they would like! Class Fee: $45.00         "Express your Inner Artist" Project Classes Old World Floral Tin Vase  - Bring the garden inside with this beautiful vase!  Combining custom floral decoupage papers, stamping, paint, plaster, antiquing & more, students will create a gorgeous project on a tall "french  Floral Tin."   Class Fee/Deposit $20.00          Supply Fee of  $45.00 is paid to the instructor the day of class.      The Art of Decoupage I  - Wonderful Gift Idea!  Design and create your vase using a variety of designs.  The finshed pieces are absolutely gorgeous and look hand painted!  "Age" the piece by "china" crackling and then antiquing to expose the beautiful crackled surface. Class Fee/Deposit $20.00          Supply Fee of  $30.00 (vase/pot)  is paid to the instructor the day of class.    The Art of Decoupage II - Selecting from an extensive collection of decoupage papers,antique art reprints and unique papers made especially for this workshop, create a one-of-a-kind collage/design on a custom-made wood mirror frame.  Finally, the piece will be crackled and aged to complete a beautiful, unique decorative piece.  This is a more detailed/layered project, requiring two sessions to complete.
